Why Is Looking Good So Important

Why Is Looking Good So Important?

You will see what I mean when about the drive to look good when we look at the popular reasons for wanting to look good other than feeling good about ourselves. In second place is making a good impression o people we meet for the first time – which will make us feel good about ourselves – at forty five per cent. Third was setting a good example for our children – which will make us feel good about ourselves – at forty per cent.

My life and experiences are a little weird in this regard, of course, as I spend so much of my time interacting with – both professionally and socially – with high class sex workers (prostitutes, hookers, call girls, tarts, trollops, whores – call them what you will. But for Malaga escorts looking good is not an expression of choice and free will, it is a requirement. At all times if they are working. A lawyer in court needs to look professional. A gym instructor needs to be in top shape at all times. A sex worker needs to look like a women that you would pay a huge amount of money to have sex with. All the time.

But it is worth drilling down into gender differences and distinctions a little. These top three reasons – feeling good about ourselves, making a good first impression, and setting a good example to our children – hold true for both men and women. But the number one reason – to feel good about ourselves – resonated far more strongly with women than with men. The relative rankings are sixty seven per cent for women versus a lowly fifty two per cent for men folk. While the other two major reasons for waning to look god are cited at about the same frequency of percentage for both men and women respondents.

For men, the fourth and fifth most popular reasons for trying to look their best are honestly rather predictable. The fourth is to please their spouse or partner (thirty seven per cent). Presumably so that they get more and / or better sex. And the fifth reason men cite for wanting to look good is to make a good impression on people – of the opposite sex or same sex – that they find attractive (thirty six per cent). Presumably so that they get more and / or better sex.
